Attic Master Insulation is a family-owned and operated business, now into its fourth decade.  Founded by Dennis and Cathy Holowach in 1977, ownership was transferred to their son Tyler in 2008.  In 2022 Attic Master Insulation has merged with Prairie Eco Tech to provide a wider range of services for your home.  Kristen Hjelkrem is now the day to day manager and lead estimator, with Tyler acting in an advisory capacity.  

 

     From day one, Attic Master Insulation has exclusively used blown-in Weathershield cellulose insulation, manufactured by Can-Cell Industries, right here in Edmonton.

     The most environmentally-friendly insulation product on the market today, cellulose is made of 85% recycled material treated with non-toxic additives to provide resistance to fire, fungi, corrosion and pests.  Weathersheild cellulose provides a superior level of thermal-resistance (R-value) to fiberglass products.  It also carries Environment Canada's Eco-Logo as a certified green building product.
